Registered Associate Marriage and Family Therapist AMFT #137406

Transitions are difficult. It takes courage and strength to move forward.

I would be honored to walk with you as you navigate the next steps on your journey. As a Registered Associate Marriage and Family Therapist, I specialize in working with couples, individuals, families, and children. Receiving my Master's degree in counseling psychology from William Jessup University later in life has given me a unique perspective into welcoming change at any age.

I am a very curious minded person who is interested in finding out who you are and how you see yourself and the world. I will work to provide a safe, encouraging, and non-judgmental space for you to explore, heal and grow. I am a person-centered therapist who uses an integrated approach, tailored to your needs. I draw most often from cognitive behavioral therapy as well as narrative therapy. I believe it is never too late to rewrite your story.

When working with couples, my goal is to facilitate open communication and understanding. By encouraging each partner to see things from the other's perspective, new insights can be gained that lead to more affirming interactions. My aim is for both partners to feel heard and respected as they work towards a more balanced relationship dynamic.

In addition to working with couples and families, I also have a passion for working with those who are transitioning from empty nest to retirement. I understand the unique challenges that come with aging. I provide support and encouragement as you write your next chapter. My approach is person-centered, incorporating elements of cognitive behavioral therapy to address issues such as grief, loss and depression.

I believe that therapy can be a transformative experience, and I am committed to helping my clients reach their full potential. My goal is to empower individuals and families to make positive changes and create a more fulfilling life. Whether you are struggling with relationship issues, navigating major life transitions, or simply looking for personal growth, therapy can provide the support and guidance you need.
